The Corporate Curmudgeon: Good ideas need action, not buy-ins, to become reality.

One of my mentors, Bill Jones, sent this article to me. It really makes sense, and it takes some thinking to let it really sink in. I think my residency is suffering from this. Great ideas, but not seeing much action. “Count me in” is a popular statement, but it takes a team. This year is going to be an interesting journey, and I feel that regardless of what I end up doing, I will be learning many lessons most residents don’t get the chance to struggle through.
